My professional creative journey began with an internship at J. Walter Thompson, Detroit, where I worked on Ford Motor Company and White Castle. Freelancing as an Art Director led to my discovery by Global Hue, America’s first dedicated multicultural advertising agency. There, I became a key player in creating award-winning campaigns for Jeep and Verizon Wireless, which earned me recognition on the cover of Screen Magazine for “Emerging Markets Emerging Talents, Multicultural Advertising and in Advertising Age as one of their "29 Under 29" emerging leaders.
My journey continued in New York with Uniworld Group, where I led creative efforts for Ford and Burger King, focusing on the African American consumer marketplace. After a successful run, I joined Leo Burnett Vigilante, leading campaigns for General Motors and New Business, including award-winning work for the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. Our collective efforts earned 14 Davey, Summit, and international Telly awards.
In Chicago, I helped Burrell Communications build and lead a high-performing teams that developed national launch campaigns for Comcast, Xfinity, NBC Universal, McDonald’s, and Toyota, resulting in agency increased scope of work and 51 industry awards.
For the last seven years, I played for the National Basketball Association as a contract Creative Director. This epic experience has offered me the opportunity to led multiple efforts for NBA corporate and sub brands including, NBA Cares, NBA Voices, NBA Covid, NBA players association, NBA Foundation and the NBA United States Mid Term and Primary Elections.
This journey has been about blending creativity, culture, and business, consistently pushing boundaries, driving results and moving culture forward.
