McDonald's wanted to test out a new product for their lineup, the McDonald’s Fish McBites, a bite-sized version of its popular Filet-O-Fish sandwich. We created a mobile phone app that used animated fish mouths and sound activated motion to mimic a real person’s mouth. We also accompanied our mobile app with a catchy song leveraging a digital platform called “Tongal ” where we engaged with consumers around the world to generate creative videos of their own to participate in an online consumer generated video challenge. The internet went wild.
Results: Over 72 million social media impressions, 1.1 million mobile app. downloads, #11 apple top app. downloads, 34,000 social media mentions
